Halloween 2019

Wednesday, October 30, 2019

Cady decided to be BoPeep this year and she has worn her costume every day since it came in and I am here for it!  So Stinking Cute.  Luke is Buzz Lightyear and refused to wear the costume or participate.  Such a boy!  My nephews humored me and let me get some cute Halloween Photos!  Happy Halloween!  I can't believe it is already almost over!  I feel serious FOMO because I haven't watched every Halloween movie on my list.  But, I have watched Hocus Pocus 395146509 times.

All The Things Retreat 2019

My sweet friend Casey recently asked me if I was going to a local Women's Retreat.  I don't have Facebook so I don't quite keep up with this things that are going on.  I told her I didn't know about it but, would love to.  By God's amazing work I happened to start following Lauren from All The Things on Instagram.  She reached out to me with the sweetest compliment about my photography and asked if I would take some pictures.  Yes, Yes, Yes, did I mention, YES!!!!  I love photography, fellowship and Jesus so it was a no brainer!  It was an amazing awakening of the soul and much needed message.  Thanks Lauren for an amazing retreat!  You are an absolute blessing!

Lincoln State Park

Monday, October 7, 2019

Mike and I are acutely aware that time is of the essence with the ages of Cadence and Lucas.  They are extremely influential right now and we know they are growing up fast and won't want to have anything to do with us in a few years.  Mike said he wanted to start taking the kids to places to experience nature and focus on our health. He picked Lincoln State Park and I was totally on board.  They kids were excited to go on a picnic and on a Scavenger Hunt.  As soon as we got out of church on Sunday we were off!  I found a free printable on Pinterest for a nature scavenger hunt.  We broke up into teams of boys vs girls.  Girls won!  It came down to who could find a feather!  So much fun!
