Waterboy

💦No Pool?  No Pond? No Lake? No Problem!  This boy will take a bucket of water. 😂

Handsome Hair

Lucas' hair has got pretty unruly over the last few months and when we would talk about cutting it he would say, "No, not my handsome hair!"  We finally talked him into a haircut like Daddy's.  He looks even more handsome!!!  And Daddy is teaching him right.  You always do something nice for your hairdressers.  He took them all candy!  😍

Sleeping Beauty

Summer Fun is rough on this Queen.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend with family and loved every second of it.  Some things I didn’t get pictures of it because I was too much in the moment!  My dad and I watched The Match with Tiger, Phil, Peyton and Tom.  It was so fun to watch.  We had a family picnic at The Parklands and went for a walk.  Swam at Loren and Kari's house.  Had a cookout at Dad's and ate homemade Ice Cream Mom made.

It was so nice to make memories and forget about the craziness in the world for just a little bit.

Summer Time

Friday, May 29, 2020

Sweet Summer, we are already loving it!  Even with all the chaos in the world we are having the best time just spending time as a family.

I watch Dirty Dancing frequently, like almost every weekend.  I asked Luke if I could make his quarantine hair into Patrick Swayze hair.  He obliged. 😍
Even after bath time we sometimes go lay out in the grass and enjoy the fresh air!
Pancake Saturdays!
Lots of trips to Mason's for a coney and cherry coke!
Summer dishes, especially a favorite: peppers, potatoes and sausage.
Pokemoning, Lots of Pokemoning!
Blue blockers look even cuter on her!

Goodbye First Grade

School is over and although it was cut short she loved every minute she did get to spend with her class and teacher.  She is such a trooper.  She will be going to a different school and a different town next school year and she hasn't complained at all.  Just asks lots of questions!  She wanted to get a little something for her teacher this year.  She helped pick out everything, especially things for Mrs. Brownings daughter.  Such a sweetie.

House Update

Sunday, May 24, 2020

We have the bottom half of a house!  The framing crew started on Friday.  They told us that it was too wet and they couldn't get a crane yet to frame the upper portion of the house.  The crane is supposed to be there on Tuesday!!!  It is going so fast but, slow at the same time.

The first time we built a house it was fun to watch the progress and feel excited about the future but, now with the kids it is even more enjoyable!  We often end our nights by laying in bed and chatting about what our first meal will be, who is going to come visit first, what games will we play and how we will decorate!

Sis decided to cut herself some bangs.  Ha!

Here we come Summer! ☀️

Monday, May 18, 2020

Oh Sweet Baby Jesus I am so happy that school is over.  God love all the teachers because this Momma could not do it every day.  My word to think I ever wanted to homeschool.  Crazy train 🚂.  Highlights so far...

- Evan and Chelsey get engaged ❤️

- Family Water Fight 💦

- Car rides with the windows down 🚗

- Our 11th Anniversary and a date to Target and Roppongi 🍣

- Framing starts on the house this week 🏡

So nice to finally get out for something other than work.

Mother's Day

Sunday, May 10, 2020

My day began with kids fighting and complaining.  I'm fine, it's fine, we are all fine. ha!  Oh motherhood.  We are currently living in my mom's basement while our house is being built.  So although we get to see her everyday it was fun to spoil her today.

Pancake Saturday 🥞

Saturday, May 9, 2020

Almost every Saturday and some Sunday’s if we miss it on the Saturday, we have Pancake Saturday.  I usually make the pancakes but sometimes the kids come up with great ideas.  This week Cadence chose the designs and was the master chef!
