We are getting super antsy to get in our house!  It’s going so fast but basement life is getting the best of us! We decided to throw down a quilt and have a picnic today!  I love the smells of fresh drywall!

Girls Day

I love going shopping in Evansville.  I remember as a little girl just going store to store.  Not necessarily buying things but, looking and going to dinner at a different place each time.  When I had a little girl I was so excited one day to spend Evansville trips with her.  So before Summer gets away from us and we get moved in the house I wanted to take some time with each kiddo so today it was Cadence’s day!  Evansville shopping with her best Friend!  A trip isn’t complete without Target and Ice Cream.

Evan and Chelsey came over to visit today so we took advantage of the sun and headed out to the local park for a picnic.  It was so nice!  We went on a quick snake hunt and then came home to enjoy the AC.  It was HOT out!  ☀️

Scripture

A few years back I saw a really cool idea on Pinterest to write scripture on your framing when building a new house.  As soon as we signed to build our home I was dreaming of writing scripture on the different rooms and praying over it.  I wrote a few of the scriptures but Mike wrote the rest.  To watch him write them made my heart almost burst!

I always like a good new recipe.  We were watching Bar Rescue recently and saw them making a yummy Pastrami sandwich so I decided to try and copy cat it.  Super Easy!

Lake Days 🚤

We spent the weekend on the Lake at my Dad’s.  We had a blast!  Even when the boat quit working and we had to pull it to dock.  So much fun it tuckered us out!
